The Artists' Collective Workshop Gothenburg (KKV) is a non-profit association that was formed in 1974 by a group of artists in collaboration with the Municipality of Gothenburg, which has supported the activity since then. There are now over 20 departments that are open to professional artists and craftsmen. Several of the departments are built up, in whole or in part, with financial support from the Swedish Arts Council, the Swedish Visual Artists' Fund, the Swedish Arts Council and other donors. KKV is also the region's leading organizer of further education for design and visual artists.
