Karin! c/o Konsthantverkscentrum

Karin! is a project where nine contemporary textile artists interpret the the textiles by Karin Bergöö Larsson. Launched in 2024, the project emerged from a shared observation: that domestic textiles are often displayed merely as everyday functional objects and are rarely granted space in the public sphere – meaning the creator behind the craft is rarely given the recognition they deserve.
